WiN-Labor (2023-2024): Quantum communication & time and frequency transfer: process, control and security aspects.

The construction of quantum networks and quantum communication currently still requires a large number of developments and investigations. Likewise, networks with high-precision time and frequency transfer will play an important role in the future.

Therefore, in the project period 2023/24, different focal points for quantum communication, as well as time and frequency transfer will be pursued and, depending on the degree of maturity and suitability, will be used for a closer evaluation. This selection is also to be flexibly oriented to the given needs of DFN with regard to a possible testbed or test routes.
